Leasholders’ Forum on 14 April

A reminder that the next Stevenage Homes Leaseholders’ Forum will be this Wednesday, 14 April at Danehill Hose at 18:30.

From the Stevenage Homes website:

The installation of integrated reception systems (IRS) into flat blocks will be discussed at the Stevenage Homes leaseholder forum on Wednesday 14 April.

During a public meeting on 9 March leaseholders requested that a meeting be set up exclusively for leaseholders to discuss IRS. The regular forum provides leaseholders with an opportunity to raise any issues about how their leasehold properties are being managed and discuss them with Stevenage Homes officers and other leaseholders.

Brent O’Halloran, director of property services at Stevenage Homes explains;

“Leaseholders are affected by the IRS programme and we are aware that many still have questions about the work. The forum will be attended by myself, members of our home ownership services team and representatives of the contractors who are undertaking the work, so we hope to be able to answer most of the queries that are raised by our leaseholder customers during that meeting.”

An invitation and an agenda was posted to all leaseholders last week and any leasehold customer is welcome to attend. The meeting will take place at the Council Offices and will start at 6:30pm.

In addition to the forum a series of local area meetings is being established for both leaseholders and tenants
